Why go Solar?

Save Money

One of the most incentivizing reasons to go solar is the massive savings on your energy bill. Customers can expect a much lower energy bill, and a lot of the times completely eliminating their bill. As energy prices go up, the savings become greater. PS there’s no PST on Solar installs!

Canada Greener Homes Grant

$5k Rebate

This initiative grants up to $5,000 to get a part of your costs back for eligible solar home retrofits and up to $600 as a maximum contribution toward the total costs of your pre-and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluations.

40k Interest-Free Loan

The initiative also grants interest-free loans from $5k-$40k with a repayment term of 10 years to help you undertake major solar home retrofits.

Net Metering

BC’s net-metering program credits your account when you create more energy than you are consuming. When you consume more energy than you are creating those credits are automatically used at the same rate! If at the end of the year you created more energy than used, you will receive a cheque from BC Hydro.

Increase Home Value

Studies have shown that for each 1kW of solar installed, your home’s value could increase up to $6k. Solar panels can add up to 3-4% to the value of your home. On top of the extra monetary value that comes with solar panels, homes with solar panels also tend to sell faster than those without.
